GreenPrint is featured on Entrepreneur.com. The story is a nice profile of GreenPrint and goes into detail about the potential benefits of using the software on the individual level as well as macro level - e.g. “if all new computers used GreenPrint, it would save more than 36 million trees every year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 117 million tons–the equivalent of removing 23 million cars from the road for an entire year.”
In addition, there is an interesting article in the July edition of Inc. Magazine — a case study of GreenPrint with advice from Tim Gill of Quark. A couple of interesting facts:
- ProgressiveRx.com grosses $700,000 a year
- GreenPrint has raised $200,000 and is now trying to raise an additional $250,000 - $500,000
- Revenue projections for GreenPrint:
- 2006: $47,000 (actual)
- 2007: $10 million
- 2008: $30 million

“Boxing great, ordained minister and grilling guru George Foreman has added another job to his resume: reality TV judge.” AP reported that Foreman will be one of the judges on ABC’s “American Inventor” television series next season.
There have been a lot of exciting developments recently in the life of Startup Studio and in the lives of our past guests. I wanted to start a blog so I’d have a place to share what’s happening. So, over the past week three great things have happened:
- University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business has begun distributing Startup Studio’s podcast.
- This week Startup Studio is guest hosting the San Jose Mercury News podcast Inside Silicon Valley, as well as the FeedBurner Podcast.
- On Monday Startup Studio received a great review from Anita Campbell’s Small Business Trends Radio. Anita’s blog was rated “Best of the Web” by Forbes.
